Anna-Marie Johnson is an American actress, best known for her role as school teacher Althea Tibbs in the television drama series "In the Heat of the Night" on CBS and NBC.
She was born in Los Angeles, California and had a dream of making it on television since childhood. Her dream came true and she has been regularly appearing in TV movies and series.
Early Career
Johnson's first role was at the age of twenty-four, playing Eileen Lewis in the NBC comedy series "Double Trouble".
